Chef Guy Peretz's Greek Salon restaurants can be found in two prominent locations – on the beach in Herzliya Pituach’s Daniel Hotel, and in the prestigious Planet complex in Rishon LeZion, set in a magical lakeside location.

The Greek Salon at the Daniel Hotel offers top notch Mediterranean cuisine inspired by traditional Greek flavors.

The ingredients used in our kitchens are imported directly from Greece, and the menu features traditional Greek mezze and dishes which are highly popular among Israeli customers.

In the Planet complex in Rishon LeZion, the Greek Salon Tavern combines dining events with live performances by artists from Greece and Israel, including Maya Sol, Rafael, Arinda Dima and others.

The events create a dinner and party experience filled with music, joy, dancing and fine cuisine.

Design and Atmosphere

The design and atmosphere of the Greek Salon restaurants are anchored in a traditional style, with blue windows, a balcony overlooking the beach, plenty of flowers and even the option of breaking plates - all of which come together to create an authentic Greek experience. Occasionally, evenings are dedicated to specific themes, featuring dishes that characterize different regions of Greece, complemented by music and a unique atmosphere.

Menu

The Greek Salon menu is highlighted by a wide variety of fresh local fish, along with classic Greek dishes, pastries and pastas. The kitchen follows Mediterranean principles, and offers must-try dishes such as a fresh vegetable station, feta dishes, an open mezze and fish bar, a butcher station with a fish platter and grilled dishes, and, equally important - a sweet celebration with a indulgent dessert table.

Chef Guy Peretz

And of course, here are a few words about Chef Guy Peretz, a chef, restaurateur and author of acclaimed Israeli cookbooks. He is the owner of the Greek Salon restaurant chain and a partner in the Auto-Food, a food truck import company. Peretz has won 13 gold medals in international culinary competitions, and serves as the captain of the Israeli chef team.

Peretz was born in Dimona to a family of chefs and butchers of Moroccan descent. As a young man, he completed his culinary studies at the Tadmor Culinary School in Herzliya, and later worked at the Sheraton Hotel in Tel Aviv, where he became the right-hand man of Wyteros Lap, the world-renowned Dutch chef.

During his military service, Peretz served as a chef in the Foreign Forces Liaison Unit, hosting international delegations of senior foreign military and IDF officials. He then continued to advance in his culinary career, serving as a chef in event venues and hotels, and established a culinary consulting company bearing his name, which has been involved in hundreds of projects in Israel and around the world.
